The Prom-in-a-Box Program: Throw a No Worries Now Prom in Your City!

The No Worries Now Prom in a Box Program gives volunteers around the country the opportunity to organize their own No Worries Now Proms in their cities. We will be accepting a few exceptional volunteers to throw a No Worries Now prom in their city. Volunteers who are accepted into the year-and-a-half-long program will commit to throwing a No Worries Now prom in summer 2016. We will guide volunteers through the entire prom-planning process, from fundraising, to picking the venue, to reaching out to hospitals, to finding entertainment, and of course through the many details on the night of the Prom itself! The program will include one-on-one weekly check-in updates to ensure that each Prom-in-a-Box is a huge success!

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, and spots are anticipated to fill up fast. The final application deadline (after which no more applications will be accepted) is February 1, 2015, at 11:59 p.m. PST. We will evaluate applications as we receive them and may contact applicants for a telephone interview between now and the deadline. All applicants will be notified of final decisions by February 15, 2015. All accepted applicants will need to pass a background check to be part of the program. The program orientation will be held over Skype or telephone in late February 2015.
